If you have been ripped off by Excel, or any other business, it is surprisingly easy to lodge a claim in the County Court. If you are reading this, it would appear that you have Internet access. The simplest way is to do it on-line. The fee is linked to the amount you are claiming and starts at £30 for claims of up to £300.

If you want to go ahead and claim against someone, have your credit or debit card to hand, with details of who you are claiming from, and the exact amount you are claiming.
